While it really does take two to tango, there are many ways to train and grow in this dance. We are going to take this time to focus on building individual technique. We truly believe that this is just as important as the work we do with a partner. Our current curriculum will center on personal work such as balance, using the core, pivot, frame, walking, foot work, being grounded... there is so much we can do!! Our hope is that when we can all dance together again, you will feel even better about your tango than you did before.

- In general, classes will focus on individual technique and exercises, no partnering work. Should classes with partner work be offered at some point, they will require pre-registration with a set partner. There will be no changing partners.
- Each class will have a participant limit so that we can maintain proper social distancing
- Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot. Although we will not be doing partner work, we are unable to accept drop-ins in order to guarantee a safe environment
- Studio Safety guidelines must be observed

Course Description: This active, upbeat course focuses on understanding and training the muscles you use for tango. This class will help you identify the correct muscles to engage. Drills and exercises will help you develop the strength and muscle memory to apply this in your dance. Students come away with better body awareness and coordination.
This class pairs beautifully with the Body Expansion class. While this class centers on active cardio movements, the Body Expansion course will help you stretch and relieve tension in the body.

Course Description: This stretching course is centered around fluid movements that will release tension in the body and create / increase flexibility. Exercises are done using extension rather than force. By relaxing the ligaments and allowing the joints to move freely without the weight of the muscles, this process allows us to feel and look lighter. This work is fluid and gentle, yet yields immediate results. The goal of this course is also to create a balanced alignment between your body and emotions. By finding space in the body, we can open the mind.
